Haircut

Michael received his first haircut at the hands of his mother. What a little man. He wasn’t even afraid of the clippers - just curious. Well, you look good, buddy. Even if you were a little wiggly.

Visit to the Dentist

Laurel made her first visit to the Pediatric Dentist. It was so cute. Everything there is geared toward little people - including a little entry door just their size. They had video games and TVs, murals painted on the walls, stuffed animals for the kids to hold, bubblegum flavored exam gloves, and a “Barbie” mirror for Laurel to hold and look into her mouth. It was fun and Laurel did GREAT. I was very impressed with my brave girl. They cleaned and polished her teeth, gave her a floride treatment, and topped it off with a bag of goodies (a toothbrush, paste and floss) and a prize from the prize box (googly eyes). No whining and complaining from this girl. She would make her uncle Jacob proud.

Hot Tub

After the beach trip and time spent in the hot tub at the condo, Laurel has finally gotten brave enough to let me turn on the jets at home. A new favorite.

Playschool

Laurel and I were invited to participate in a preschool co-op with a few other families in the ward. Bryant and Preston are her preschool buddies. Her teachers are Miss Heather, Miss Rachel and myself and we take turns having school at our houses once a week. The kids absolutely love it and it is a lot of fun for me to dig into my kindergarten stuff and teach occasionally. Here is Laurel on her first day of “Playschool.” She’s so big!
